South Sudan U-20 Team Listening to coach Instructions at Buluk Playing Ground
Via: SSFA The 2019 Cecafa U-29 Challenge Cup will take place September 21th to October 5th in Uganda. Nicholas Musonye, the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (Cecafa) Secretary General communicated the new dates on Monday. The tournament was originally meant to start on September 14th. “The Uganda FA requested for the tournament to be moved by a week and we had to change the dates,” said Musonye. Uganda are planning to host the tournament in three different venues spread around the country. Musonye said all members; Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Sudan, Somalia and South Sudan have confirmed participation. South Sudan’s U-20 team is already undergoing training ahead of the tournament. The tournament will be financed by FIFA through the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
