Wani Ivan Marcello, Debbo Julius Moro And Busogo United FC Players Survived Road Accident

South Sudan International and Busogo United FC duo of Wani Ivan Marcello and Debbo Julius Moro and other players’ team bus was involved in an accident on their way to Kampala from the West Nile District of Arua.

According to the Club Media Officer

“3:00 AM: The team has been involved in an accident around Migera. An oncoming truck lost control while trying to avoid a UPDF truck that had earlier been involved in an accident and abandoned on one side of the road. The trailer nearly rammed onto our bus but the driver pulled aside and fell by the roadside. “Everyone is safe!”

Wani Ivan and Debbo Julius Moro plus other Busoga United FC team mates were returning to Jinja from the west Nile district of Arua after taking part in the Star Times Uganda Premier League Match Day 19, 2019/2020 season against Onduparaka FC at Green Light Stadium.

Busoga United lost to the home team 2-1 with goals scored through Maliangumu on the 24th minutes and the visitors responded on the 28th minutes with Mandela Nelson tapping in from a close range with left back Rashid Okocha scoring the winner on the 68 minutes of the game.

Onduparaka FC had South Sudanese duo of Bida Ezra and Adinho Wande Gibson who started against the Jinja based club, which brings in a total of four players from South Sudan who featured in the game on Tuesday 28th January 2020.
