SSFA Sends Dr. Salyi Lolaku Wani To Take Part in CAF Technical Directors Workshop in Morocco

The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) have confirmed that Dr. Samuel Salyi Lolaku Wani is among the 51 members taking part in a three day CAF Technical Directors workshop in Rabat, Morocco.

The workshop which is aimed at training the technical directors with the Confederation’s new coaching convention among other things will climax on Monday at the Mohamed IV Complex.

Besides Wani, nine other technical directors from the Council of East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) region are also attending. The directors from the other CECAFA member nations are from Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

The workshop is also aimed at training the Technical Directors on how to apply for the coaching courses for their national associations using the CAF Content Management System (CMS).
It should be noted Dr. Salyi Lolaku Samuel is a South Sudanese professional football manager. He was named as caretaker manager of the South Sudan National Football team for the friendly game versus Botswana in March 2014.

Dr. Salyi became the national team Fifth coach after Malesh Soro from South Sudan, Ismail Balanga from South Sudan, Zoran Dordevic from Serbia and Ismail Balanga who came in for the second time to take charge of the national team. He is also the first South Sudanese Coach to have obtained a CAF A license in 2014/2015.
