Bright Stars’ holding midfielder, Dominic Angelo is a doubt for Munuki’s crucial tie against third placed Kator FC on Friday.
The midfield maestro sustained hamstring injury against Viva Stars last weekend and according to the club statement, the injury is not as serious as first thought.
The statement continued to indicate that Angelo was receiving treatment and was feeling much better on Monday but Friday might be too early for him.
The hamstring strain is believed to be as a result of tedious training schedules for both national team and club as Bright Stars are preparing for the Afcon qualifiers’ double header against neighbours Uganda, first on 28th March, 2020 in Kampala.
Angelo is going to be a big miss for Mohamed Adam’s side currently sitting in 7th position with just 15 points from 14 games.
