Juba Local League 2019/2020: Munuki FC Held Amarat United FC To A Goalless Draw

Juba Local League 2019/2020 season table leaders Amarat United FC dropped a point as they managed to settle for a goalless draw with seventh placed Munuki FC in the round of sixteen at Munuki Playing Ground, a game which was said to have been so entertaining according to the fans from both teams.  

The draw opens up the title challenge as the gap between table leaders Amarat United and runners-up would be reduced to only 3 points if the defending champions win their match day 17 encounter against Viva Stars.

It should be noted that Munuki FC went into this encounter against Amarat United without the services of their two line backs Tutu Awach and Wilson Tito due to accumulated 2 yellows in the previous games.

However Kator Football Clubs who did not take many of their chances in the half time clock, had to wait until a second half penalty which was well converted by Lemebe to give them all the three points against Al Merreikh FC at Jamus playing ground

Kator’s win has taken them within 8 points of the table leaders and just two points separating them with Atlabara FC.

Match day 17 games continues this afternoon Saturday 14th March 2020 as second place Atlabara FC entertains Viva Star FC at Jamus playground, while the Rabita FC and Al Hilal FC has been postponed due to Rabita FC participation in the 2019/2020 South Sudan Cup.  While on Sunday 15th March 2020, Gudele FC Juba verus Nasir FC at Munuki Playing ground as Rainbow FC entaian Malakia FC at Munuki Playing Ground.
