Defending Champions, Atlabara FC have closed the gap on the table leaders Amarat United to only three points after 3-1 comfortable win over Viva Stars on Saturday, 14th March, 2020.
Newly appointed Kenyan Coach, Michael Ouma Nam went to his third competitive match as Atlabara head Coach well knowing that, his side was trailing Skyscrapers by six points following their goalless draw with Munuki FC on Friday.
The former Vipers FC head Coach has now masterminded three wins out of three games since taking over the job on caretaker basis on 24th February, 2020.
Michael Ouma replaced out of contract Michael Morris, who guided Atlabara to their fifth league title last season.
Atlabara FC is now in course to challenge Amarat United for the title with about five games to go and the two are yet to meet in the second round of the season.
Amarat United will restore their six point lead if they can go past El-Merriekh next weekend as Atlabara’s game against Rabita might not go ahead if Coach Ramzi’s side go past Aweil United in South Sudan Cup semi-finals.
The two teams will come head-to-head in what might be title decider on 10th April, 2020 at Munuki Playing Ground.
