Juba Local Football Association first division club Kator Football have on Wednesday 20th May 2020 said that they have accepted the annulation of the local competition at the Juba Local League by the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA).
The Lobers became the first club in the Juba Local League to agree with the SSFA ordinary sitting on way forward of the local and national competition which have been dented by world pandemic COVID_19.
The white and green club who used it official face book page to express their view, have also said although a lot of effort and resources had been put into the team, the cancellation was logically inevitable due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The club has also went further by wholeheartedly thanking all their players for the massive effort and struggle they put this season and pray that coronavirus will live within the country and world no longer to give a chance for the players to come strong next season, the management also advised the players to never ignore keeping their fitness.
Kator FC have taken the chance to wish their club fans and well-wishers for being with them during match days from their different locations and playgrounds. They also advised the fans and players to keep following the World Health Organization guidelines on coronavirus so that all players, coaches, administrators and fans be alive next year. It should be noted that the Lobers before the cancellation of the Juba Local League were at the third (3rd) position, after playing 17 matches, wining ten, drawing four and losing three, the club scored 23 goals and conceded 11. The lobers were only 5 points difference with second placed team Atlabara FC and eight points behind table leaders Amarat United FC.
