Juba local football association first division club Munuki FC on Tuesday 28th July 2020 have announced to their official club social media platform that club head coach Mohammed Adam has extended his contract for another one year until July 2021, with an option to extend for a further year.

Mohammed Adam was previously recruited on 13th February 2020 on a 3 months probation contract with the Snakes, replacing Nichola Peter Orat who resigned from his position and duties as the club’s head coach on Wednesday 12th February 2020 due to interference by some stakeholders at the club.

During his take over as the snakes coach, Munuki FC was on the 7th position with 13 points, registering 3 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses after 12 games played.

After the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) called off the 2019/2020 local league games and sports activities in March 2020, Munuki FC were in 7th position after registering 19 points winning 4 matches and drawing 7 while losing 5 of the 16 games played.

Adam previously coached Gudele FC in the Juba Local League before taking over El Salaam Wau FC in the Wau Local League before returning to Juba to take over Malakia FC in the Juba Local League 2019/2020 season.

Mohammed Adam was later sacked by Malakia Football Club Juba on January 14th 2020 after registering poor results in the 2019/2020 Juba local league.

The then Malakia FC gaffer Coach Mohamed Adam was in 2019 appointed assistant coach of the national U-20 team by South Sudan football association but failed to take up the role due to his clubs engagements in the local league.
