Coach Bilal Turns Down National Team U-20 Coaching Appointment

Reports have emerged that former South Sudan senior national team, under-17, and U-12 coach Bilal Feix Komoyange has turned down the latest appointment as the head coach of the South Sudan U-20 national team.

According to reports, coach Bilal turned down the appointment due to too many assignments at his professional workplace. It should be noted that Bilal Felix is an employee of the Bank of South Sudan.

However Kurrasports understands that there are perhaps a couple of comprehensive un answered recommendations submitted by Bilal as a coach of the unders, and senior team.

The news means that the national football governing body (SSFA) will have to continue hunting for a head coach of the U-20 team, a position previously held by Coach James Simon Yor.

On 24th September 2020, in a bit of bringing new faces into the national U-20 technical team, the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) coaching Committee had confirmed the appointment of former Kator, Malakia and Atlabara FC coach Mr. Felix Bilal Komoyange as head coach of the national team U-20.

The committee which is headed by Abd Al-Rahman Chol had stated that the new technical team for South Sudan U-20 was to prepare the team for the upcoming Cecafa U-20 tourney.

Coach Bilal Felix was to be assisted by South Korean Lim Hung as the General Coach, Nichola Peter Orat as Fitness Coach, Charles Sebit Gisai as Goalkeeping Coach, Besensio Charles as the Team Manager and Deng Malik as Team’s Kit manager. 

It should be noted that CECAFA U-20 competition is most likely to be staged in Khartoum, Sudan around December, 2020.
