The Bright Stars of South Sudan have on Tuesday 13th October 2020 forced the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon into another goalless draw.
Both teams are preparing for a major competition ahead of them with Cameroon set to compete in a CHAN 2021, South Sudan is set to play Uganda in a double header in November 2020, in an Africa Cup of Nations group qualifiers.
The game which show both managers having different players line up on day two of the planned international friendly games for the South Sudan Bright Stars, South Sudan national team Coach Ashu Cyprian Besong introduced At Bara FC forward Aluck Akech Mabior instead of Gor Mahia FC lanky forward Tito Okello.

However the game showed central midfielder Stephen Pawaar spending close to 24 hours in the hospital after he was stretchered off during the South Sudan friendly game against Cameroon’s Intermediate Lions on Tuesday in Yaoundé-Cameroon, SSFA has been informed.
The team is set to leave Yaounde Cameroon on Thursday 15th October, 2020 and touch down Juba International Airport on Friday 16th October 2020, according to reports the team will take a one week rest before resuming training ahead of the Uganda encounter in November 2020.
There will be a possibility of seeing new faces or more international players added into the 22 man squad already selected by coach Ashu Cyprian Besong. However there is also a high note that some of the players among the 22 man squad will be left out looking at the Intensity of the game against Uganda.
South Sudan is at present bottom of group B with zero points scoring only one goal against Burkina Faso in Khartoum.
