The Sudan Premier League through the Sudan Football Association has invited two South Sudan/ese International referees to officiate the Premier league match day 23 of Al Ahli Khartoum and Al Shorta.
The two South Sudan International referees who will take their continental experience to the Sudan Premier League are center referee Malong Ring Nyier Akech and assistant referee Dehiya Gasim Madir
Ahmed Omer Hamid Mohamed (Assistant 1) and Ala Abd Alsamd (4th Official) all from Sudan will be some of the referees to make a complete set of the referees to take charge of the game.
Hussein Abo Gaba and Amir Osman will serve as the match commissioner and referee assessor respectively.
The match which will be played on Tuesday 20th October 2020 at Khartoum Stadium will kick off at 18:15 pm.
Al Ahli Khartoum in the Sudan Premier League are currently occupying the number 11 position with 38 points in 31 games played while Al Shorta are at number 13 with 31 points after playing 31 games. Both teams are looking forward to winning this encounter on Tuesday 20th October, 2020 to cement a fruitful position, with Al Ahli Khartoum winning it’s previous match 2-0 against Al Ahli Shandi on Friday 16th October, 2020 while Al Shorta drew 0-0 aganist Al Khartoum on Sunday 18th October, 2020.
It should be noted that during the day 3 and 4 of AFCON 2022 qualifiers, CAF did not allocate a match for the South Sudanese international referees which includes; MALONG Ring Nyier Akech, JAMES Alier Michael , (both Center Referees), OLIBO George Primato, DEHIYA Gasim Madir, HENRY Duwuki Robert, DAU Daniel Dau. (All Assistant referees). However all have been active in CAF Champions and Confederations Cup games, they have also been involved in local league matches.
