Emad, Daniel Concedes Defeat And Congratulates New Juba Local Football Association Office Bearers

As the Juba Local Football Association general assembly body on Tuesday 20th October, 2020, at the Landmark Hotel Juba, two of the candidates who contested have come out to concede defeat and congratulated the new leadership of the association entrusted by the general assembly. 

Daniel Moses and Emad Abbas who consted for the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson respectively came out on their official social media platforms to congragulate John Lado and Emmanuel Oyik Benjamin who have been their closest contenders.

John Lado won Tuesday’s election beating four of his contenders with 29 votes out of the 49 while his closest opponent and former Gudele FC Juba club chairman Daniel Moses obtained 17 votes out of 49 with Peter Acuil pulling 3 votes and Jadien Jada the former chairman attaining no vote. Meanwhile  Emmanuel Oyik Benjamin beat Emad Abbas with a narrow single vote to take up the Vice Chairman position with 25 votes out of 49, while Abbas registered 24 votes out of 49. 

“I congratulate John Lado on winning the election of President of Juba Football Association with 29 votes , and I thank and  appreciate those clubs who voted for me with 17 votes . . Thanks and God Blessed Juba Football Association”.

The elected officials including others will be running the local association affairs for the last four years from 20th October 2020 to 20th October 2024.
