AFCON 2021 QUALIFIERS: Referees From Benin To Officiate South Sudan Versus Uganda In Nairobi, Kenya

Continental football governing body, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed referees from Benin to officiate the group B match 84 of the day 4 of the Total Africa Cup of Nations game between South-Sudan and Uganda in Nairobi, Kenya. 

The game which will be played on Monday 16th November 2020 at the Nyayo National Stadium will be overseen by center referee Djindo Houngnandande who will be assisted by his Benin counterparts Gbemassiandan Kouton and Eric Ayimavo as the first and second assistant referees respectively.

The security of the two teams and the match officials will be handled by CAF Kenyan security officer Mr Khakane C. Alan while Amir Abdi Hassan from Somalia will be the match commissioner of the day. 

Djindo Houngnandande handled a goalless draw between Nigeria and Uganda Cranes and KCCA FC’s 4-1 defeat to Paradou.

Uganda Cranes will first host South-Sudan at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende the home of Vipers SC on Thursday 12th November,2020 before travelling to Kenya.

South Sudan head coach Ashu Cyprian Besong has initially released a 37 man provisional squad to kick off preparations ahead of the most anticipated match next month.
