South Sudan senior national football team and Gor Mahia FC forward TIto Okello Odong has been handed the Shirt Nine of the Club.
The 19 league champions announced on Friday 6th November 2020 barely hours after the player joined the Brights Stars team mates in Juba on Friday last week.
Okello who is currently with the South Sudan senior national team in Kampala ahead of the Total Africa Cup of Nations day 3 fixture on Thursday will be happy to wear the shirt number 9 of Gor Mahia FC.
Under their new coach Roberto Oliveira, Gor Mahia FC will represent Kenya in the 2020/2021 CAF Preliminary round as they await Monday’s draw to know their opponents.
The South Sudan international joined Gor Mahia FC from Uganda Premier League defending Champions Vipers SC at the start of the 2018-19 season after a brief spell in Macau.
He had earlier played at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), BUL and had a spell at Tanzania’s African Lyon. The forward was part of South Sudan national team players who traveled to Cameroon earlier in October and played two matches will all ended in a goalless draw.
