JLFA South Sudan Cup 2021: Munuki FC Walloped Nyakuron FC 4-0 To Advance To The Next Round As Rabita FC Juba Escaped A Scare From Merreikh FC Juba
As the Juba Local Football Association, 2021 South Sudan Cup climaxed into the 4th day of the knock out competition, Munuki FC Juba ran down clueless Nyakuron FC by 4-0 to advance into the next round of the competition.
The Snakes who started with two of the South Sudan national team players, with Dominic Angelo played as a center back and Stephen Pawaar as an attacking midfielder opened their scoring on the 11th minutes of the game through forward George Augustion, as the proceedings were going on with coach Ahmed Adam’s troops, Sebit Juma doubled the Snakes lead on the 21st minutes to end the first half proceedings in a 2-0 lead.
After coming from the half time break, hardworking former CHAN national team forward Angelo Ango scored on the 56th minutes to make it 3-0 at the interval, a goal line which prompted head coach Ahmed Adam to introduce new signing Mohammed Ibrahim Abdalla Osman from Sudan to hand the lad his debut and couldn’t disappoint as his name went into the score sheet through a 78th minutes goal and second in the second half to take the tally to 4-0.
The Munuki FC and second division team Nyakuron FC South Sudan Cup 2021 game was played at Munuki Playing Ground, the home yard of the winners, it should also be noted that home ground advantage also contributed to the home team win although coupled with their great and hard team work.
Elsewhere in some of the games played defending champions Rabita FC Juba escaped a scare from bitter rivals Al Merreikh FC Juba as they went into the break with a goal down. However coach Ramsey Sebit Lumori who came into the second half with a new CAF Confederation Cup competition skills took the bragging right after helping his team win 2-0.
Rabita FC Juba have to wait for a late winning goal scored by Justin Zuma. The Church owned club is looking forward to successfully defending the South Sudan Cup. Buluk Training Center hosted the match for these two giants.
At Jamus Playing Ground Kabo beat fellow third division counterparts Kamiru 3-2 to advance into the next round of the competition.
