It was a hard fought outing for Gudele FC Juba as they scored two second half goals to sail through into the finals of the 2021 South Sudan Cup Juba Local Football Association.
Hard working and promising Gudele FC Juba had to wait until the 90th minute to slot in their winning goal through team captain and forward Robino Obeni as they beat Imtidad Buluk FC by 2-1.
Formidable Imtidad Buluk FC took the lead in the 15th minutes of the game through Emmanuel Paul on the penalty spot after he was brought down on the 18 yard box as they went into the break.
Imtidad Buluk head coach Bring George who started the game with forward Emmanuel Paul and Enosa Ladu upfront had some clear passes in front of goal but were wasted.
Gudele FC Juba head coach who was missing the services of this number one trusted left back Sergio Fwada due to accumulated yellow cards has such a gap in the position.
However Gudele FC who looked promising in the start of the second had to equalise through Noah John’s free kick in the 59th minutes, a goal which gave hopes to coach Simon Lasu’s troops.
