South Sudan National U-20 Player Handed Shirt Number 6 As Onduparaka FC Confirm 2020/2021 Season Squad

As teams are gearing up preparations ahead of the 2020/2021 Uganda Premier League Season, West Nile based Uganda Premier League outfit Onduparaka Football Club have confirmed the squad they will be using for the coming 2020/21 season.

The Caterpillars announced a 38-man squad including the club’s new signings that were acquired during the primary transfer window.

The squad show South Sudan national U-20 team center back and former Light SS FC captain Augustine Akoch handed the shirt number six (6) of the club for the 2020/2021 season. 

Akoch who is currently with the South Sudan U-20 national football team in Arusha Tanzania ahead of the CECAFA U-20 Zonal qualifiers joined the caterpillars from Light SS FC of Soroti in a two years professional contract. 

Some of the new arrivals that were signed by the club are; Matata Gabriel, Atibuni Ken, Ronald Ondokonyero, Musema Bonny, Shaban Wasswa, Moses Okot, Kenneth Makama, Noel Nasasira, Augustine Opaka, Oscar Agaba and Ezama Richard.

The squad comprises of three goalkeepers (3), Thirteen defenders (13) Eleven (11) midfielders and Eleven strikers (11).

The Catterpillars are the technical ability of Vialli Bianomugisha, who took over from caretaker coach Simeone Masaba in July. Mubarak Abu Wamboya and Ibrahim Kongo as his assistant and goalkeeping coach respectively. Masaba is currently the assistant at Uganda Premier League side URA FC .
