Three Days State Referees Training Concluded In Warrap State Capital Kuajok

South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) three days referees training was concluded in the Warrap State Capital Kuajok. The national referees training drew referees from all over the state according to reports from the Kuajok Local Football Association (KLFA) 

The closing ceremony of the three days closing ceremony of the national refereeing course  organized by South Sudan Football Association on Tuesday 19/01/2021 was attended by the state Governor of Warrap State Hon. Bona Panek in the State capital Kuajok, the training which started on 15th -19th January 2021, aims at strengthening the skills of the local referees in the State.

The training was conducted by the National Referees Committee and was supervised by Instructor and former FIFA referee Januar Frezar , Instructor and former FIFA referee  Samson Kalisto and CAF/FIFA referee Malong Ring Nyier.

The workshop brought 30 participants among them 5 Women referees from three defunct States of Tonj, Twic and Gogrial with the call to end communal conflicts in their respective areas with sport activities.

Addressing the participants in the closing occasion, The Governor of Warrap State Hon. Bona Panek Biar, said sport play a great role in bringing peace and unity, Biar argued the Sport leaders to continue doing positive contribution toward peace and reconciliation, He guaranteed the government’s commitment to give sport a full attention across the State, Governor Panek appreciated the National referees for offering their skills to the locals referees and requested that similar training be conducted in some of the states in the country.

Speaking on behalf of referees, Mr. Peter Mator appreciated the state Governor for continuous assistance towards sport activities in the State.
