South Sudan International Ade Brian has been confirmed as a new signing by West Nile based re-branded club Arua Hill Sports Club.
Born on 15th Jan 1997 in Arua, Uganda, to South Sudanese parents, Ade Brian is one of the best players in West Nile with proven skills and abilities. He joins the club after strengthening himself as one of the top footballers in University. (UCU Mukono) football following the successful 2019 edition of University Football League where his school emerged champions as he scored nine goals in 11 appearances.
The player’s outstanding performances led to his inclusion by coach Dudu Bosco in the West Nile Province team which competed in the provincial competition organized by FUFA
Ade was part of the Westnile FUFA Drum team squad that beat Karamoja home and away with him finding the net in both fixtures.
The 23 year-old began his career with 5th Division side Orashia FC in 2014/15 where he scored five goals in five appearances. He later joined 4th Division side Arua Soccer Academy and made his first team debut at the age of just 18 in 2015.
In his first season with Arua Soccer Academy, the speedy forward won the 4th Division championship and was top scorer with 11 goals in 12 appearances .
In 2016, Ade was one of the key figures in Arua Soccer Academy’s success as his eight goals in eight appearances contributed to the team’s victory in the zonal league playoffs.
2016/17 saw him ingress as top scorer with 15 goals in 18 appearances as his side Arua Soccer. Academy came out 1st runners up in the regional league.
Ade Brian said: “I’m very happy about my move here. I’m so happy I’m going to play in a very competitive league and for a very good club with a very good vision.”
“I’m very grateful to everyone who has been supportive to me especially the coaches, fans and the board and I promise to pour myself for this team to gain promotion to the top flight.”
“I have targets and ambitions like any other player, I want to score goals and defend them and at least get three points per match. My main target however is line with the team’s target but personally I want to score goals, to be the top scorer in the league.”
Hussein Mbalangu said: “Ade is a very talented young boy because I’ve even been following him since his University football days especially when he won with them University tournament.”
“He is vibrant and he will help us, with the senior players we have, we need to have fresh legs who can try to help the seniors when they’ve already done the work.”
“He is a very good replacement for Leku, because they are very similar in skills. They have pace, they are very good on the ball. So, it creates a competitive environment for them, which is good. ”
Ade Brian is yet to feature in any South Sudan national team (s) at any level yet and is looking forward to any time call up to his native team set up.
Arua Hill Sports Club have also added another South Sudan and Buddo Secondary School prolific under 20 striker Innocent Ronald Media for 3 years professional deal. Innocent will be ready for any national team call up CECAFA U-20.
The Club is also being linked with the South Sudan U-20 attacking midfielder Jowang Emmanuel Kaka. Kaka was part of the South Sudan U-20 national team squad who took part in the 2019 CECAFA U-20 competition in Ugandan towns of Jinja and Gulu. If he joins, then South Sudan will have 3 players attached to the newly branded Arua Hill Sports Club.
