The coach of the Jordan national football team, Adnan Hamad, confirmed to the association website that the goal of being in the Arab Cup “FIFA 2021” in its exceptional version has been achieved, “although their desire as a team was to play the match against South Sudan and achieve victory and qualification on the field.”

Speaking to the federation’s website, the Al-Nashami coach expressed his understanding of the decision of the International Federation “FIFA”, which announced earlier that the national team had won 3-0 in South Sudan, to isolate (19) players from the opposing team, after a number of them were infected with the new Coronavirus, And their inability to provide the minimum number of players to play the match, which was scheduled for the evening of Monday, June 21, at Khalifa Stadium in Doha.

Hamad said: Our wishes for a speedy recovery to all the players and members of the delegation of the South Sudan national team, and their speedy return to the stadiums. Diameter.

He added: We have a long journey that requires great work, and we are now looking forward to the perfect preparation for the Arab Cup, to ensure the desired results are achieved, in addition to the 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers. We have a clear vision of the project to restore the players to the position they deserve among the elite teams of the Asian continent. 

After canceling the match, the coach of Al-Nashami decided to hold an internal training match for the national team, through which it aims to stand more at the level of all players, and maintain their technical and physical readiness, before the Al-Nashami delegation returns to the capital Amman tomorrow evening, and the players join their clubs.

It is noteworthy that Hamad took over the tasks of the technical management of the players last Wednesday evening, June 16, after the national team exited the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, after occupying third place in the second group of competitions held in Kuwait, with (14) points and a goal difference behind the owners of the land, with Australia qualified with the lead (24 points).
